Board of Directors


Eugene Shablygin, President, C.E.O. and Chairman of the Board

Graduated from Moscow State University's Physics Department in 1983. His research interests concentrated on implementation of computer algebra in high-energy physics. From 1987 to 1992 worked at the Institute for Nuclear Physics of Moscow University, then at the Institute for Theoretical Problems of Microworld. The experience gained over the years of research work turned out to be quite useful in the computer business.

In 1989 together with two of his colleagues, who were also ham radio operators, founded Radio Communications and Computer Company (RC&C). This was the first Russian company to import, and later develop and produce (under Mega Jet brand) citizens band communication equipment. In 1991, after the split in RC&C, Jet Info Systems emerged. Since 1995 Mr. Shablygin worked in USA, where during 1996-97 he was employed at CompuCom Systems as director for mid-range systems. In 1997 he returned to Jet in the capacity of the President and Chairman of the Board.

Hobbies: amateur radio (call sign RA3AA in Russia and W3UA in USA), general aviation, alpine ski.

 

Vladimir Yelisseyev, Managing Director

Graduated from Moscow State University's Physics Department in 1984. PhD, physics (1988). Technical Director, Jet Info Systems (1992-1994), Managing Director (from 1995). Recognized as one of the best managers and most influential executives in Russian IT business.
Married, has three childreen.
Hobbies: photography, scuba diving, alpine ski.

 

Oleg Molodykh, Chief Financial Officer

Graduated from Moscow State University's Physics Department in 1983. PhD, physics (1986). Assistant professor, Moscow State Institute for Radio Technology, Electronics and Automation (1987-1990). Founder of Moscow Liceum publishing company (1989). From 1992 Chief Financial Officer, Jet Info Systems.
Married, has three childreen.
Hobbies: Role playing, white water kayaking, alpine ski.

 

Andrew Samoilov, Chief Sales Officer

Graduated from Moscow State University in 1984. Studied development of system software for large data processing units. From 1984 to 1989 developed and implemented system and user software in Gosplan of USSR, Pravda Publishing House, Mosssovet. Over that time rose from an engineer to department head. In 1989 was employed by one of the first joint Russian IT companies - CST, - where had to deal with marketing of commercial software. In 1990 joined Intermicro company as a manager for Sun Microsystems products. In 1992 was hired by a newly established and quickly expanding Let Info Systems as a Chief Sales Officer.
Hobbies: Hi-End sound systems, alpine ski.
