Days of BMC Software in Moscow: IT Management the Art of Success

For BMC Software the Forum was instrumental in enhancing its presence on the Russian market. The main aim pursued by the Forum was to introduce Russian companies to BMC Software solutions.

Initiator of this Moscow forum was Jet Info Systems - BMC Software general partner in Russia.

The Forum was a two-day event. The “Business-Day” mainly focused on the Business Service Management (BSM) strategy, developed by the company. This strategy makes it possible to restructure and automate IT divisions’ functions as required by the modern business environment

The participants of the forum had a chance to familiarize themselves with projects implemented at a chain-store company and a car manufacturing enterprise. These examples demonstrated the advantages of employing main principles under BSM strategy.

The “Technologies Day” featured primarily technological details of solutions offered by Software. Several session s took place on that day: <!--[endif]-->

The Forum was attended by representatives of companies and enterprises whose responsibilities include defining strategy for development and implementation of IT technologies, i.e. CEOs, business divisions heads, IT directors and managers.

Among those willing to participate in the Forum were representatives of various industries and business, including aviation industry, energy sector, distribution and retail companies, oil and gas industry, telecommunications and insurance.

Keld Stiks, BMC Software CEE sales director: “We see the Forum as a success. We  were able to communicate with representatives of Russian companies and enterprises, get first-hand information on peculiarities of business in Russia, learn about the needs of business-divisions in IT sphere and the tasks faced by IT managers.
