IT Center – a branch of Mosenergo Company – is service company that maintains Mosenergo Company’s information system. The main objective of IT Center activities is to ensure stable operation of Mosenergo Company’s Corporate Information System that provides the IT services for 3,000 users from Mosenergo Company headquarters and branches.

Information Resources Management System for Mosenergo Company information system consists of two integrated components:
- Operation Management System;
- IT Infrastructure Monitoring System.

The Operation Management System regulates and automates the following processes of the IT services support:
- Interaction With Users and Incident Management;
- Activities Management;
- Configuration Management.

Automation of IT-services support activities is implemented basing on Hewlett-Packard OpenView product family.

To date, the Information Resources Management System for Mosenergo Company’s Corporate Information System operates during 9 months.

Today IT Management of Mosenergo Company and IT Center have actual data about the maintained hardware configuration and availability, and the current load of the personnel. They also know what users are affected by the incidents and the real time necessary to solve problems.

Mosenergo Company is planning further development of the Information Resources Management System.

Among the tasks that should be solved, the following ones can be marked out:
· generation of Service Level Agreements and management of Agreements;
· control of performance indexes of the main application systems;
· network and system monitoring of the hardware of the large-scale IT projects implemented in Mosenergo Company.
