The certificate confirms that Dozor-Jet meets the specified features and requirements for an unauthorized access protection product. In the future, methods and requirements tested on this product will lay the basis for Commission’s regulations concerning data security products specifications. According to the State Technical Commission’s requirements, all organizations in possession of confidential information and connected to an external network are obliged to carry out e-mail monitoring.

Dozor-Jet enables its users to monitor all in- and outgoing as well as internal e-mail messages. At the same time, this product enhances electronic workflow assistance and provides possibilities for mail service efficiency assessment. These features will be especially helpful to enterprises which are in the process of deploying the corresponding automation systems. E-mails and attached messages are analyzed with the help of special filters sensitive to separate words and phrases, templates and patterns. With Dozor-Jet, you can define the parameters for e-mail analysis depending upon some pre-determined conditions.

At present Dozor-Jet is installed at 15 large Russian enterprises, which chose this product because of the following unique advantages:

• A possibility to work with alternative encodings currently employed by e-mail services in Russian.
• Compared to its competitors, Dozor-Jet provides an enhanced set of functions. For instance, apart from scanning for viruses and specified names, Dozor Jet can analyze the body of the letter for inadmissible attachments. The system works with a list of various attributes, which enables it to identify unauthorized messages, including the actual signature of attachments.
• Dozor-Jet supports a fully functional e-mail message archive. Usually, products similar to Dozor-Jet only offer limited isolation features for small suspicious messages supposed to be analyzed shortly. Dozor-Jet gives you a possibility to store a considerable number of messages of any size for a long time. For these purposes the system employs Oracle data base management system. This enables the product to process and analyze the stored information and generate reports.

Dozor-Jet works under SPARC Solaris 2.7, 2.8 platforms, and HP-UX on pilot basis. Jet Info System plans to transfer the system into Intel Solaris environment. The product has been developed over a year and currently the company works to further improve it by adding new functions and providing installation support for customers.

Several supply packages have been developed for Dozor-Jet: from mere out-of-the-box supply to a comprehensive installation, which includes diagnosis of business-processes and optimization. Usually, the system is installed by Jet Info Systems engineers, yet the company also provides detailed documentation and training courses for administrators, which enables customers to deploy and maintain the system on their own.
