The Jet Info Systems Company won the tender for information protection subsystem for Moscow Treasury

Jet Info Systems – the leading Russian information protection systems developer – commenced work on an information protection subsystem that is part of Moscow Treasury’s Automated Management Information System for Budgetary Process.

The integrator choice was based on open tender results. The tender was announced in early June. The list of qualification terms and conditions for the bidders implied participation of the largest integrators only – the integrators that had licenses issued by the State Technical Commission and Federal Agency for Government Communications and Information as well as successful experience in similar projects.

Despite the fact that the stakeholders showed great interest in providing IT services for state enterprises and organizations, only two more companies competed with Jet Info Systems in Moscow Treasury tender: Informzaschita and Compulink.

“In addition to rigid requirements, among specific features of the tender are efficient methods of company assessment emloyed by the Treasury experts”, underlines Alexei Dryndin, Jet Info Systems’ federal and state organizations manager. Among the criteria were financial performance, company’s scientific and technical potential, offers in data protection issues, technical support and consulting services as well as experience of working for governmental organizations and Moscow municipal organizations. Despite tough competition, Jet Info Systems managed to get far ahead of the competitors.

Moscow Treasury has a distributed branch structure. That means dozens of servers and about 1,500 users that exchange confidential information. Jet Info Systems will provide system auditing, create a single complex concept concerning security and integrity of the whole Treasury data. The company will also provide technical means for task implementation and technical support for the period of five years. The Information Protection Centre that co-participated in the tender together with Jet Info Systems will train Treasury’s employees and carry out certification.

Jet Info Systems traditionally employs responsible approach for ensuring information security for state enterprises and organizations, as the company’s main mission is implementation of long-term information security policy facilitating effective work of the state bodies. Alexei Dryndin notes positive trends on the information security market: “Legislative bodies show their understanding of the information security issues. Thus, they passed a wide range of norms and laws in this field giving the opportunity for boosting mutually beneficial partnership with the largest customers”.

The Jet Info Systems Company plans to continue providing IT solutions for Treasury Bodies and other governmental structures of the Russian Federation through deployment of key information infrastructure components and after-sales services.
