It is a range of hardware/software solutions certified within “Electronic Communications” Certification System of the Russian Ministry for Communications and intended for deployment of telematics service points. All of the five components within E-Structure (S Mail, S Web, S Cahe, S Radius, S Zastava-Jet) are based on Netra hardware platform by SUN Microsystems. They include pre-installed and configured Solaris and the necessary service software. E-Structure family servers can be used by both ISP and ASP providers for rendering news services in e-commerce. According to Andrei Vladimirov, Telecommunications Market Department head, “Such ready-made solutions will allow providers to focus more on client services and less – on infrastructure issues.” E-Structure servers were first introduced by Jet Info Systems at the Communications-Expokomm 2000 exhibition, where the first contracts were signed. Currently the company is working on E-Structure series servers based on Hewlett-Packard hardware. As Andrei Vladimirov, Telecommunications Market Department head, thinks, the market is awaiting such a solution and the company’s initiative cane at the right moment, which is further confirmed by sales dynamics. all news |
